RuneLite plugins, explained
RuneLite is the open-source Old School RuneScape client most players already use. RLPlugins is a separate plugin platform: one small launcher opens RuneLite with the plugins on your account, from boss helpers for Zulrah and Vorkath to raid setups for Chambers of Xeric and the new Sailing skill.
Free plugins unlock for every member of the RLPlugins Discord. Join the server, download the launcher for Windows or Linux and sign in with the same Discord account. Updates arrive through the launcher, so you never copy plugin files by hand.
Overlays show information you could read yourself. Automation plugins such as Auto LMS take actions for you, and Jagex's rules treat them differently. RLPlugins is independent of RuneLite and Jagex; read are RuneLite plugins allowed? before you choose.
RLPlugins is an independent plugin platform for Old School RuneScape players. Browse the catalogue, choose the plugins that fit your activities, and use the RLPlugins launcher with the Discord account that owns your access.
No. RuneLite's Plugin Hub and RLPlugins are separate distribution systems. A plugin listed on RLPlugins is not automatically listed, reviewed or approved by RuneLite or Jagex. Read each plugin's description and the current game rules before using it.
Open the download page, sign in with Discord if needed, and download RLPlugins.jar. Open this small updater with Java 11 or newer; it updates and opens your launcher automatically.
Yes. All 126 plugins in the catalogue are free. Join the RLPlugins Discord, sign in to the launcher with that Discord account and they are in your plugin list. No purchase or subscription.
RuneLite itself is an approved third-party client, but Jagex's rules also apply to individual plugin features, and automation is treated differently from overlays. RLPlugins is independent of RuneLite and Jagex. Our rules guide explains what to check before you use a plugin.
