What you are actually preparing for.
Raids are logistics with a fight attached: roles, rooms, gear switches and a team that needs the same information you have.
CoX, ToB and ToA equipment, room preparation and team coordination are the usual starting points. Pick one, then prepare the equipment, supplies and travel it needs.
Settle these first.
- Agree roles before entering, not in the first room
- Build the loadout for the whole raid, including switches you only need once
- Know which rooms you personally are weakest at
The plugin types that apply here.
Room and mechanic indicators. Every raid room has one thing that catches people. Surfacing that one thing is worth more than a full HUD.
Loadout and switch tooling. Raids involve more gear switching than anything else in the game. Organised setups make it easier to find the equipment you need.
Team and timing information. Coordination failures cost more raids than mechanical ones. Shared timing helps everyone act on the same beat.
The mistake to avoid.
Do not add overlays for rooms you already know. Clutter in a raid is genuinely dangerous, because the one alert that matters gets lost.
Before you install anything.
Read each plugin's current feature list rather than its category name, and start with the information you actually need for the session. Check compatibility after client or game updates, and disable a plugin that behaves unexpectedly.
These are activity categories, not a promise that every example has a matching RLPlugins release. The public matches below use catalogue descriptions and tags.
