What you are actually preparing for.
A boss is a fixed pattern you learn once and then execute under supply pressure. Almost everything useful on screen is about the pattern or the supplies, not about damage.
Vorkath, Zulrah, the God Wars Dungeon and other boss encounters are the usual starting points. Pick one, then prepare the equipment, supplies and travel it needs.
Settle these first.
- Know the attack rotation and which prayer answers each phase
- Bring supplies for a longer trip than you expect to survive
- Decide your bail-out condition before the first kill, not during the fifth
The plugin types that apply here.
Attack and phase indicators. Keep encounter information readable, and check the rules for the exact indicator you plan to use.
Prayer and health warnings. Visible resource warnings help you notice low health or prayer while watching the fight.
Kill and trip tracking. Kills per trip is the number that tells you whether your setup improved or you got lucky.
The mistake to avoid.
Learn one boss properly rather than three roughly. The supplies you waste re-learning are worth more than the variety.
Before you install anything.
Read each plugin's current feature list rather than its category name, and start with the information you actually need for the session. Check compatibility after client or game updates, and disable a plugin that behaves unexpectedly.
These are activity categories, not a promise that every example has a matching RLPlugins release. The public matches below use catalogue descriptions and tags.
