What Target Range does
Target Range is a free PvP plugin for Old School RuneScape, delivered to RuneLite through the RLPlugins launcher. Target Range is a free RuneLite PvP overlay that shows the real attack area around your current target using live weapon detection or a manual range.
PvP is decided in single game ticks. Target Range brings live Pid style target lock, live target weapon scan every tick and direct weapon-slot item decode into one setup, so you spend the fight reacting instead of digging through menus.

Target Range is a PvP overlay for RuneLite that highlights the real attack area around your locked target. It uses the upstream attack-ranges weapon map to resolve the target's current equipped weapon range every tick, so the overlay follows live weapon switches instead of the last fired attack. Weapon Range overrides the manual Range setting when enabled, while Range is used when Weapon Range is disabled or the current equipped weapon is unsupported. This build keeps the bottom debug overlay and delays the cooldown warning colors by one tick so the neutral color lasts longer before the red/yellow/green window starts.

Join the Discord
Free plugins are unlocked for every member of the RLPlugins Discord.
Get the launcher
Download RLPlugins.jar and open it with Java 11 or newer on Windows or Linux.
Sign in with Discord
Use the same Discord account. The launcher opens RuneLite with your plugins.
Switch on Target Range
Enable it in the plugin panel. Updates arrive through the launcher.

- Is Target Range free?
- Yes. Target Range costs nothing. It is free for every member of the RLPlugins Discord: join the server, sign in to the launcher with that Discord account and it is in your plugin list.
- How do I install the Target Range plugin?
- Download RLPlugins.jar from the download page and open it with Java 11 or newer on Windows or Linux. Sign in with Discord and the launcher opens RuneLite with Target Range available. You never copy plugin files by hand.
- Is Target Range on the RuneLite Plugin Hub?
- No. Target Range is distributed by RLPlugins, not by RuneLite's Plugin Hub. RLPlugins is independent of RuneLite and Jagex, so check the current game rules before using any third-party plugin.
