About this plugin
What Auto Spec does
Auto Spec is a free PvP plugin for Old School RuneScape, delivered to RuneLite through the RLPlugins launcher. One-shot special-attack loadouts with icon buttons, hotkey execution, hit thresholds, min-spec checks, freeze legality, and prayer safeguards.
PvP is decided in single game ticks. Auto Spec brings icon-only draggable overlay buttons for saved spec loadouts, configurable execute hotkey for the selected loadout and right-click overlay button configuration into one setup, so you spend the fight reacting instead of digging through menus.
Features
- Icon-only draggable overlay buttons for saved spec loadouts
- Configurable execute hotkey for the selected loadout
- Right-click overlay button configuration
- OSRS Wiki first-weapon icons on execute buttons
- Saved one- and two-weapon spec presets
- Comma-separated gear sets per weapon step
- Hit > HP XP damage gates for first and second weapon flow
- Manual execute path that bypasses hit filters and cooldown wait
- Minimum special energy requirement
- Optional restore-to-starting-gear after execution
Auto Spec is a managed plugin for executing saved special-attack loadouts from icon-only overlay buttons or a configurable hotkey. Right-click loadout buttons configure presets, and the overlay can be resized or dragged with Alt. It supports one or two weapon steps, comma-separated gear sets, Hit > HP XP damage gates, manual execute that bypasses hit filters, min-spec energy checks, optional restore-to-starting-gear after execution, freeze-aware melee distance checks, OSRS Wiki weapon icons, and automatic offensive prayer selection.

Questions
Auto Spec FAQ
- Is Auto Spec free?
- Yes. Auto Spec costs nothing. It is free for every member of the RLPlugins Discord: join the server, sign in to the launcher with that Discord account and it is in your plugin list.
- How do I install the Auto Spec plugin?
- Download RLPlugins.jar from the download page and open it with Java 11 or newer on Windows or Linux. Sign in with Discord and the launcher opens RuneLite with Auto Spec available. You never copy plugin files by hand.
- Does Auto Spec play for me?
- Auto Spec is an automation plugin: it takes in-game actions for you. Jagex's rules treat automation differently from overlays, so read our rules guide before using it on an account you care about.
- Is Auto Spec on the RuneLite Plugin Hub?
- No. Auto Spec is distributed by RLPlugins, not by RuneLite's Plugin Hub. RLPlugins is independent of RuneLite and Jagex, so check the current game rules before using any third-party plugin.
- How does Auto Spec update?
- Updates arrive through the RLPlugins launcher. Restart it to pick up the latest compatible release, and check the release history on this page for what changed.
