What you are actually preparing for.
Slayer is a queue of small, unrelated setup problems. The fight is usually easy; the preparation is what takes the time.
Task preparation, monster locations and equipment requirements are the usual starting points. Pick one, then prepare the equipment, supplies and travel it needs.
Settle these first.
- Check requirements and protective items before travelling
- Decide skip or do based on time, not on feelings about the monster
- Keep a loadout per common task type rather than rebuilding each time
The plugin types that apply here.
Task and count tracking. The remaining count is the spine of the whole skill and belongs on screen, not in an interface you keep opening.
Requirement reminders. Some tasks need protective equipment or a finishing item. Check before travelling.
Loadout tooling. You rebuild your inventory several times an hour. This is the strongest case in the game for saved setups.
The mistake to avoid.
Sort out your teleport and travel options before the task list, not after. Travel is where Slayer time actually goes.
Before you install anything.
Read each plugin's current feature list rather than its category name, and start with the information you actually need for the session. Check compatibility after client or game updates, and disable a plugin that behaves unexpectedly.
These are activity categories, not a promise that every example has a matching RLPlugins release. The public matches below use catalogue descriptions and tags.
