What you are actually preparing for.
Quests and diaries are a requirements problem: items, levels and prerequisite quests, usually discovered in the wrong order.
Quest preparation, diary requirements and travel planning are the usual starting points. Pick one, then prepare the equipment, supplies and travel it needs.
Settle these first.
- Gather every listed item before starting, including the easily missed ones
- Check skill requirements and boosts you might need
- Know which prerequisite quests are actually required
The plugin types that apply here.
Requirement checklists. The failure mode is always the same: three steps in, missing an item that was listed at the top.
Route and travel helpers. Quests are mostly travel. Anything that shortens route-finding shortens the quest.
Progress tracking. Diary tasks are scattered across the map and easy to half-finish. Tracking turns them into a list you can close.
The mistake to avoid.
Bank space matters more than you think. Start a long quest with a nearly full inventory and you will spend the quest walking to banks.
Before you install anything.
Read each plugin's current feature list rather than its category name, and start with the information you actually need for the session. Check compatibility after client or game updates, and disable a plugin that behaves unexpectedly.
These are activity categories, not a promise that every example has a matching RLPlugins release. The public matches below use catalogue descriptions and tags.
